Ella Hhosting the Simplicity Exhibition as part of the Love Fall Ball
For the “Love Fall Ball” I re-curated my installation “Simplicity” in a smaller version that had more of a focus on the bliss of what summer and nature are. The exhibit is about contemplation, stillness, being present and observant.
The overall theme of the “Love Fall Ball” was rebirth so it was important that simplicity was there, because what better tool is there than serenity in order to experience rebirth? One doesn’t go without the other.
City life as well as life in nature, through all seasons, is put into visuals in order to show that peace is possible wherever we are located, wherever we come from, and whatever we are going through.
“Simplicity” this time consisted of a smaller amount of prints on the wall and they were all 4x6 prints available for purchase. Instead of making the audience read the poems that come with the images, from a catalog, I decided to incorporate a few ones into my performance.

Get in touch with your senses,
And you can always restart!
